Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that they will be implementing a couple of new promotions for the first weekend games of February. On February 3rd, the Ice Dogs will have their first ever Cheesy Noisemaker Night followed up on the 4th with a teddy bear toss.

On Friday, February 3rd, all fans in attendance are encouraged to bring an unopened package of macaroni and cheese when the Ice Dogs take on the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30pm. Over the course of the game, fans should shake their macaroni and cheese to make noise and cheer on the Ice Dogs. After the game, all boxes will be collected and donated to the Long Beach Rescue Mission.

Also on the 3rd, fans will be greeted by some very special guests as several of the Star Wars characters will be roaming about the arena throughout the night.

On Saturday, February 4th, the Ice Dogs will be holding their first ever teddy bear toss as they take on the Bakersfield Condors at 7pm. Fans are being asked to bring a stuffed teddy bear and throw it onto the ice when the Ice Dogs score their first goal of the game. The bears will then be collected and donated to the Miller Children's Hospital.

The Ice Dogs head out on the road for the next three games before returning home on Wednesday, February 1st, when the league leading Alaska Aces come to town. Game time is at 7pm. For ticket information, call (562) ICE-DOGS or visit www.icedogs.com.
