
2006 ECHL All-Star Events Begin Tonight

FRESNO, Calif. - The ECHL, all of its member teams, and VIP's from across the world of professional hockey, including representatives from the National Hockey League and American Hockey League, descend upon the city of Fresno tonight and tomorrow beginning with tonight's Skills Competition at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m.
A total of 41 players from 25 teams in the ECHL's American and National Conferences will compete tonight in six different skill events: puck control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, rapid fire, accuracy shooting, and breakaway relay. The Skills Competition begins at 7 p.m. at Save Mart Center. All seats cost $10 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations and Save Mart Center's box office.
The American and National Conferences will then square-off again tomorrow during the 14th Annual ECHL All-Star Game at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. The Nationals won last season's All-Star Game by a score of 6-2 in Reading, Pa. All-Star Game seats cost $15, $20, or $25 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations and Save Mart Center's box office.
Immediately following the All-Star Game tomorrow, the public is invited to the All-Star Fan Fest at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Fresno. For $20, the Fan Fest includes:
- Opportunity to mingle with and get autographs from all of the All-Star players and coaches
- 2006 ECHL All-Star T-shirt
- Photo opportunity with the Stanley Cup
- Drinks and Entertainment
Fan Fest tickets are available for purchase at the concourse merchandise stands during both the Skills Competition and All-Star Game or at the Radisson Hotel tomorrow night.
