Huston Street Scheduled to Make Rehab Appearance at Raley Field on Saturday

Oakland A's closer Huston Street is scheduled to make his Major League Rehabilitation assignment with the River Cats on Saturday, July 21st against the Salt Lake Bees at Raley Field. Street is scheduled to start Saturday's game and pitch one inning or approximately 20 pitches. Street was placed on the 15-day DL on May 15th retroactive to May 13th with an irritation in his right ulnar nerve. Street, who earned 2005 American League Rookie of the Year honors when he set an Oakland team record for saves by a rookie (23), pitched for the River Cats' during the team's 2004 PCL Championship season and earned two (2) saves during that year's PCL playoffs. Prior to his injury, Street was 2-1 with a 2.50 ERA and 9 saves with the A's this season.
