
Hustle Top Magic in Final Home Game of Tip-Off Tournament

Memphis, Tenn. - The Memphis Hustle (5-7), the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, defeated the Osceola Magic (8-4) 132-121 in the final home game of the Tip-Off Tournament at Landers Center.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper led the Hustle with 30 points, eight rebounds and three steals. GG Jackson II notched a double-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Tyler Burton added 18 points off the bench. Charlie Brown Jr. totaled 17 points and six rebounds. DeJon Jarreau contributed 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Lester Quiñones paced Osceola with 33 points. Alex Morales registered 17 points and seven rebounds. Javonte Smart and Phillip Wheeler added 15 points off the bench each. Orlando Robinson tallied 14 points and eight rebounds.
After the teams were tied at 52 late in the second quarter, Memphis closed the first half on a 21-12 run to take the halftime lead. The Hustle opened the second half on a 21-10 run to extend their lead to 20 and led the Magic by double-digits through the final buzzer.
Memphis shot 53.7 percent from the field and a season-high 48.6 percent from beyond the arc, making 18 3-pointers. The Hustle dished out 26 assists on 44 field goals. Memphis outrebounded the Magic 53-33 and scored 27 fast break points. Osceola outscored the Hustle 76-50 in the paint.
Memphis travels to Kissimmee, Fla. for a two-game set against the Magic starting on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. CT. at Silver Spurs Arena.
