Calgary, AB - Dino Kambeitz scored twice to lead the Lethbridge Hurricanes past the Calgary Hitmen 3-2 on Sunday at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Trailing 2-0 entering the third period, the Hitmen rallied to tie it within the first six minutes on markers from Orca Wiesblatt and Riley Stotts. However 11 seconds later Kambeitz restored the lead for the visitors, notching a shorthanded game winner.

Chase Wheatcroft also scored for the Hurricanes who were outshot 33-26.

Prior to puck drop, the Hitmen inducted former executive and coach Kelly Kisio into the 'Forever A Hitmen' program by raising a banner to the rafters which will remain on permanent display.

Kisio spent 18 years with the club from 1998 to 2016 and during that time his work took the franchise to new heights; two WHL titles (1999 & 2010), nine trips to the Conference Finals or beyond and playoff berths in 17 of 18 seasons.

The journey will take them to Prince Albert for a date with the Raiders on Tuesday, Mar. 3 before meeting the Blades in Saskatoon on Wednesday, Mar. 4.
