Hurricanes Announce Finalized Playoff Dates

Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes are proud to announce the finalized dates for their first round WHL Playoff series with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Lethbridge, the third seed in the Eastern Conference, finished the regular season with a record of 45-21-2-4 and a total of 96 points; the second highest point total in the conference. The Regina Pats, as winners of the East division title, are seeded in second place for the opening round of the WHL Playoffs despite having a lower point total. This week the Hurricanes will prepare to host their first WHL Playoff games since 2006.

The following is the finalized schedule for the Lethbridge Hurricanes first round playoff series with the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Game 1 - Friday, March 22nd, 2008 - Brandon @ Lethbridge 7:00 PM MST

Game 2 - Saturday, March 23rd, 2008 - Brandon @ Lethbridge 7:00 PM MST

Game 3 - Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 - Lethbridge @ Brandon 6:00 PM MST

Game 4 - Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 - Lethbridge @ Brandon 6:00 PM MST

Friday, March 28th, 2008 - Lethbridge @ Brandon 6:30 PM MST

Game 6 (If necessary) -

Sunday, March 30th, 2008 - Brandon @ Lethbridge 7:00 PM MST

Game 7 (If necessary) -

Fans should note that tickets for Games 5,6, and 7 will not go on sale until the game date is confirmed as necessary.
