Seattle to face Kelowna Rockets in first-round of playoffs

Seattle, March 17, 2008 - The Seattle Thunderbirds opponent in the first round of the Western Hockey League playoffs is the Kelowna Rockets.

The T-Birds finished fourth in the Western Conference with a 42-23-5-2 record. The Rockets finished fifth in the Western Conference with a 38-26-2-6 record.

The T-Birds have home-ice advantage in the first round best-of-seven series.

First Round Schedule

Game 1 - Friday, March 21 vs. Kelowna at KeyArena at 7:35 p.m.

Game 2 - Saturday, March 22 vs. Kelowna at KeyArena at 7:05 p.m.

Game 3 - Monday, March 24 at Kelowna at Prospera Place at 7 p.m.

Game 4 - Tuesday, March 25 at Kelowna at Prospera Place at 7 p.m.

Game 5 - Thursday, March 27 vs. Kelowna at KeyArena at 7:05 p.m.*

Game 6 - Saturday, March 29 at Kelowna at Prospera Place at 7 p.m.*

Game 7 - Tuesday, April 1 vs. Kelowna at KeyArena at 7:05 p.m.*
