
Hunter Garlent Named Hy-Grade Steel Roofing Player of the Week

The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Hunter Garlent is the HY GRADE STEEL ROOFING Player of the Week.
Garlent picked up five points, one goal and four assists in two games this past weekend. His best game of the week came on Friday night when he recorded four assists in the Storm's 9-4 win over the Petes. The Thorold native was named second star of the game. On Saturday night in Erie, Garlent recorded the second Storm goal of the night in the 4-3 overtime loss.
After 22 games, Garlent has recorded 29 points, six goals and 23 assists and currently sits third on the team in scoring. The 18 year old is a +16 and has recorded two power play goals.
Next up, the Storm face a four game week with two home games on Friday and Sunday. Tuesday morning they head to Mississauga for the annual School Day Game at 11:00am. Friday night the Storm will be the featured game on Friday Night Hockey on Sportsnet when they host the Windsor Spitfires at 7:00pm. Saturday they head to Plymouth to take on the Whalers before heading back home to the Sleeman Centre to host the Kitchener Rangers for RBC Play Hockey day at 2:00pm.
