Houston Dynamo Acquire International Roster Slot in Trade with Portland Timbers

HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo acquired a 2019 International roster slot from the Portland Timbers in exchange for $175,000 in allocation money, the club announced today.

The trade gives Houston eight international roster slots for the 2019 season. The club currently has seven players who occupy international slots: FW Alberth Elis, DF Maynor Figueroa, DF Alejandro Fuenmayor, DF Adam Lundkvist, FW Ronaldo Peña, DF Aljaž "Kiki' Struna and MF MatÃ-as Vera.

Houston agreed to send Portland $75,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) in 2019 and $100,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) for the 2020 season.

TRANSACTION: The Houston Dynamo acquired a 2019 International roster slot from the Portland Timbers in exchange for $75,000 in General Allocation Money in 2019 and $100,000 in Targeted Allocation Money for the 2020 season.
