Hounds, Rangers Complete Deal Involving Wale

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced the team completed a deal with the Midwest Division's Kitchener Rangers today.

The transaction sees the Greyhounds receive a trio of picks in exchange of a third-year defenceman.

Coming to the Greyhounds are a 3rd Round Selection in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection (OTT), 5th Round Selection in 2022 (KIT) and 8th Round in 2020 (KIT).

Kitchener receives left-shooting defenceman, Holden Wale.

Wale, originally a 4th Round pick of the Greyhounds in 2016, is in his third season with the Greyhounds.

In 139 career regular season games played he has 7 goals and 25 assists (32 points).

Following this transaction, the Greyhounds active roster reduces down to 7 defenceman; Ryan O'Rourke, Jacob LeGuerrier, Billy Constantinou, Robert Calisti, Drew Wawrow, Jacob Holmes and Matthew Halushak.
