
Houk Commits to Swift Current

Swift Current, SK: Swift Current Broncos General Manager Dean Brockman announced Saturday morning that the team has signed forward Eric Houk to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
"Eric came into camp and made an impression on everyone," said Brockman. "He has shown a tremendous work ethic."
Houk, a native of Regina, SK suited up for the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA club of the SMHL in 2017-18 and notched 32 points (9g-23a) in 42 games. The 5'11", 182lb forward registered four assists in seven playoff games and also was called up by the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL during the postseason where he earned an assist in three contests.
The Broncos resume preseason action on Saturday, September 1st when they battle the Saskatoon Blades at the Brandt Centre in Regina. Puck drop is slated for 3:00pm CT.
