Honkers and Border Cats Washed Out
July 20, 2011 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Rochester Honkers News Release
(Rochester, MN) - Today's game between the Honkers and the Thunder Bay Border Cats is currently in a rain delay. The game was tied 0-0 in the fourth inning when a torrential down pour hit the Thunder Bay area. The game will be finished tomorrow at 5:35 pm with the regular scheduled game to follow.
The game was originally delayed due to technical difficulties at the ball park, and lasted just four innings before the rain storms came and washed all hopes of a finished ballgame.
The Honkers and Border Cats will travel to Rochester after the conclusion of tomorrow's games and play a three game series in Rochester. First pitch on Friday, July 22 is scheduled for 7:05 pm at Mayo Field.
