Hogs and Barons Battle Tonight, Morin Recalled to the Blackhawks

Rockford, Ill.-The Oklahoma City Barons travel to the MetroCentre tonight for the first time ever to face off against the Rockford IceHogs at 7:05 p.m.

Tonight is the IceHogs' annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are invited to bring new stuffed animals to the game on Saturday and when Rockford scores their first goal against the Barons, fans can toss the stuffed animals onto the ice. The stuffed animals will be collected and distributed by IceHogs players and staff members to local hospitals and non-profit organizations to brighten the holidays for kids in the Rockford area.

Also, the first 2,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs winter scarf courtesy of Mega Truck Rental and 97ZOK.

Tonight's game can be heard on 1330 AM WNTA, 1380 AM WTJK or on-line at wnta.com beginning at 6:35 p.m. with the U.S. Cellular Pregame Show.

Saturday is Hockey Night in Rockford on Rockford's My Network TV digital sub-channel 17.2 or Comcast and Charter Cable Channel-16. The game can also be viewed on-line through ahllive.com.

Rockford extended their point streak to a season best four games last night (2-0-0-2) after picking up a point in their 4-3 shootout loss to the Milwaukee Admirals. Defenseman Brian Connelly picked up another point last night against the Ads and leads the IceHogs with 17 points (3G-14A).

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Dec. 15 vs. Chicago Wolves. Puck drop is at 6:35 p.m. Dollar Days are back again at the MetroCentre. Fans can enjoy dollar Bud Select beers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, Pepsi Products and companion tickets courtesy of Taco Bell and WXRX.
