Hogs Acquire Defenseman Miskovic

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud affiliate of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that they have acquired defenseman Zach Miskovic from the San Antonio Rampage in exchange for future considerations.

Miskovic, 28, has recorded two assists in 10 games with the Rampage this season. The blueliner has also notched a goal and two assists in five contests with the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones.

The River Forest, Ill. native has accumulated 19 goals and 44 assists in a total of 204 career AHL games with the Hershey Bears (2009-12), Chicago Wolves (2012-13) and San Antonio.

Prior to turning pro, Miskovic played four seasons at St. Lawrence University, compiling 73 points (27g-46a) in 154 tilts.

Next Home Game: Mon., Jan. 20 vs. Toronto Marlies at 1 p.m. Rockford hosts another day game, this time against Toronto. While enjoying the day off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the IceHogs are giving away drawstring bags to the first 1,500 kids (14 and under) at the game, courtesy of Pepsi.
