Fresno Falcons News Release

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Fresno Falcons goaltender Jamie Hodson made a league season-high 58 saves, but his effort was not enough as Paul Rosebush scored the game's only goal in the third period to deliver a 1-0 shutout win to the Bakersfield Condors at Centennial Garden.

Scoreless though the first 40 minutes and well into the third, Hodson stopped the first 57 shots Bakersfield fired his way. But with under five minutes remaining in regulation, Dylan Mills rimmed a puck out of the Condors zone, which was picked up on the fly by Rosebush, who beat Hodson on the clean break-away at 15:09 for the game's only goal. Bakersfield netminder Yutaka Fukufuji made 29 stops to notch his second shutout of the season, both at the expense of Fresno.

The Falcons continue a four-game road trip tomorrow when they take on the San Diego Gulls at the San Diego Sports Arena. Catch all of the live play-by-play action on 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat, beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the pre-game show.
