Peoria, Ill. – Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that rookie goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu and tough man David Kaczowka have been reassigned from the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Worcester IceCats, with the AHL All-Star break underway.

Beckford-Tseu – a 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Toronto, Ontario – stopped all seven shots he faced in relief of Curtis Sanford last Saturday, February 5 in a 3-2 home loss to the Albany River Rats. The 20-year-old netminder posted a 7-8-2 record with a 2.57 goals against average (GAA) and a .913 save percentage in 17 appearances through the first half of the season with the Rivermen. The fifth round selection (159th overall) of the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft registered his first professional shutout on December 5 with 25 saves in a 1-0 home win over the Wheeling Nailers and posted a four-game winning streak from December 4-11.

Kaczowka – a 6-foot-2, 230-pound native of Regina, Saskatchewan – fought twice in the first period of Friday night's 4-1 win for Worcester over the Springfield Falcons, taking on 6-foot-8, 258-pound Mitch Fritz at 2:13 and 14:17. After four reassignments with the IceCats this season, the 23-year-old ruffian has 50 PIM in seven games. On the year, he has 126 PIM in 19 games with Peoria.
