Swift Current, SK - The Calgary Hitmen scored twice in each period in a 6-1 win over the Swift Current Broncos Saturday night at Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

Carson Focht led the Hitmen scoring attack with four assists while James Malm added a goal and two assists. Luke Coleman, Ryder Korczak, Jackson van de Leest and Devan Klassen also found the back of the net for the visitors. For Klassen, it was his first career Western Hockey League goal.

Joona Kiviniemi was the only Bronco to beat Hitmen goalie Jack McNaughton who finished the game with 22 saves.

The Hitmen fired 41 shots at the Swift Current net with three of their six goals on the power play.

Calgary completes their four-game road trip with a record of 2-1-1-0 to collect five of a possible eight points. They will now return home to face the Broncos in the rematch at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The 11 a.m. start is the TELUS BE BRAVE Anti-Bullying game.

Over 14,000 Calgary and area students will be in attendance to learn about acceptance and bullying prevention from two guest speakers, concourse displays and in-game activities. Akeem Haynes, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and self-help author, will speak in the first intermission while Rilee Manybears, athlete from Siksika Nation and ambassador for the AMA Youth Run Club, will address the crowd in the second intermission.

Both speakers are presented by A1 Chesney Service Experts.
