Saskatoon, SK - The Kootenay ICE (11-38-7-2) visit the Saskatoon Blades (37-14-8-0) for the second and final time this season on Saturday, February 23.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.

The ICE are coming off of a 4-0 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders on February 22. ICE goaltender Curtis Meger stopped 26-of-30 shots. The Raiders received two goals from Sean Montgomery, while Brayden Pachal and Ozzy Wiesblatt added the others. Goaltender Ian Scott blocked 21 shots for the shutout. The ICE were outshot 30-21. They went 0-for-3 on the power play, 1-for-1 on the penalty kill and won 37-of-58 face-offs.

The ICE have amassed 31 points this season, which is good for sixth in the Central Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.

The ICE have a road record of 4-19-4-2.

The Saskatoon Blades host the Kootenay ICE for the second and final time this season on Saturday, February 23. Tonight's game begins a four-game homestand for the Blades who will also host Lethbridge, Regina and Red Deer. The Blades play 12 games in the month of February, tonight's is the 11th. Heading into tonight's game, the Blades are second in the East Division and second in the Eastern Conference.

The Blades are coming off of a 6-2 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings on February 22. The Blades received goals from Ryan Hughes and Max Gerlach. Both Blades goaltenders saw action in the game. The Blades outshot the Wheat Kings 39-28. They went 2-for-4 on the power play, 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and won 28-of-62 face-offs.
