Hicklen returns to Bees

Burlington, IA (July 31, 2005) - RHP Patrick Hicklen returns to the Burlington Bees active roster today. Hicklen was sent to Double-A Wichita to make a spot start in game one of a double-header against Tulsa on Wednesday. The Wranglers had to play two double-headers in three days last week. Hicklen allowed six runs on five hits while walking five and striking out four in 3.2 innings. He was the losing pitcher as the Drillers on the game 6-4. Hicklen is 6-4 with a 3.84 ERA in 18 games (13 starts) with the Bees this season.

He will pitch tomorrow night in the series finale between the Bees and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Community Field. The game starts at 7:00 on a Miller Lite Dollar Monday featuring $1 general admission tickets, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and 20oz. bottles of Pepsi products. Adults can also enjoy 2-for-$3 specials on all 12oz. cans of Miller products throughout the game. The gates open at 6:00 and the game will be broadcast live on KBUR AM 1490 and KBKB AM 1360 with the pre-game show starting at 6:40.
