
"Heroes Get Remembered But Legends Never Die", Chihuahuas Unveil "The Sandlot" Jersey and Theme Night

The 25th Anniversary of "The Sandlot" Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 2nd!
Tom Guiry, who played the protagonist Scotty Smalls, will meet with fans and sign autographs!
The movie gave fans quotable lines such as "L7 Weenie" and "Heroes get remembered but legends never die" and also "You're killing me Smalls!"
To add to the night, Tom Guiry, who played the main character, Scotty Smalls, will make his first Minor League Baseball appearance of the season at the game. Guiry will throw out a first pitch, meet with fans and sign autographs on the concourse during the game.
The evening of fun will conclude with a Fireworks Spectacular presented by KVIA and KISS FM, and will be choreographed to the soundtrack from "The Sandlot."
Fans are encouraged to throw on their favorite t-shirt, jeans and PF Flyers and come dressed as their favorite character from "The Sandlot." The best dressed fan will win an erector set! Contest details will be revealed at a later date.

DURANGO BOX OFFICE HOURS:
Non-Gameday hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Gameday hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. through 15 minutes after last out.
Gameday hours: Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. through 15 minutes after last out.
SANTA FE BOX OFFICE HOURS:
Non-Gameday hours: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Gamedays including Sunday: 10 a.m. through 15 minutes after last out.
AUCTION RULES
The auction will begin as gates open (6 p.m.) and will conclude on the final out of the fifth inning. Winners will be escorted on to the field postgame to receive the game-worn jersey from the respective player/coach*. Guests who would like to place a bid must be 18 years of age or older. It is the discretion of the El Paso Chihuahuas to decide the winner of the silent auction should names not be legible. Payment is due prior to the end of the game to be eligible to receive the jersey. Rude or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
