
Herd Acquires Andre Spight

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, has acquired guard Andre Spight off waivers. In a corresponding transaction, the team has waived forward James Young.
Spight (6-3, 170) played most recently with Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi (Turkey) where he averaged 5.7 points and 1.1 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game. He also appeared in six games (six starts) with the Helsinki Seagulls (Finland) this season and averaged 21.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.0 steals, while shooting 43.0 percent from the field. A South Plains College and Arizona State transfer, Spight played his senior season at the University of Northern Colorado where he averaged 22.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
Young appeared in 19 games (18 starts) with the Herd this season and averaged 18.9 points, 5.2 rebounds,2.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.7 minutes per game.
The Herd's roster stands at 12 players.
