CANTON, OH - The Canton Charge, powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, added forward Phil Carr from the available player pool, the team announced today.
Carr (6-8, 230), appeared in 10 games for the Westchester Knicks this season, averaging 1.6 points in 5.3 minutes per game before being waived on January 10.
Undrafted out of Morgan State, Carr appeared in 31 games as a senior, earning 2018 All-MEAC First Team honors after averaging 13.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
The Charge roster now stands at 12.
The Charge face a back-to-back this weekend as the team hits the road for the Big Apple and a matchup with the Long Island Nets Friday night at 7:00 PM (TV: Facebook Live; RADIO: 99.7 FM) before returning home for a clash with the Maine Red Claws on Saturday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m. (TV: Facebook Live; RADIO: 99.7 FM).
