Heat Versus Rampage Game Preview

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat open a six-game home-stand tonight with their first of two games in two days against the San Antonio Rampage. The Heat enter play in 6th spot in the Western Conference, having earned five points in their last three games, which included a 3-1 win over the Rampage who sit in 8th spot - just one point ahead of the Lake Erie Monsters and tied with the Rochester Americans for the final playoff spot.

The Heat enter action having amassed five points in their last six games, while the Rampage just snapped a four-game losing streak by winning the second half of a home set with the Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday night in San Antonio. The Heat host eight of their final ten regular season contests at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, with an eye on the fourth seed in the Western Conference which is the last home-ice playoff position.

The season series has seen the Heat win three of the six games played to date, with all of the wins coming at the AT&T Centre where the Heat outscored the Rampage 13-3 over the four games in the Alamo City. The Rampage took four points in a one-sided weekend in their only visit to the Fraser Valley way back on the 25th and 27th of November.

Tonight's game - 'Country Night' which will see Aaron Pritchett preform a post-game concert - begins at 7:00 and can be heard be heard on Country 107.1 beginning with the 6:30 pre-game show.
