
Penguins to Play Bears Outdoors in 2013

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they will face the Hershey Bears in an outdoor game to be played at HersheyPark Stadium on Sunday, January 20, 2013. This will be first time in team history the Penguins will take part in an outdoor game
"We are looking forward to participating in what should be one of the marquee events of the 2012-13 season. We feel this will be a fantastic experience for both Penguins and Bears fans and should add another chapter to the great rivalry between our two teams," said Penguins CEO Jeff Barrett.
The contest will be the sixth American Hockey League game played outdoors.
