CHICAGO, IL - The Hamilton Bulldogs upset the Midwest Division-leading Chicago Wolves 3-2 in a tight game at Allstate Arena.

T.J. Fast scored his first goal of the season with just seven seconds to play in the first period to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Fast took a 4-on-4 pass from Andreas Engqvist and rifled a slapshot from the point. The puck deflected off a Wolves defenceman and past goaltender Eddie Lack.

Robert Mayer replaced Bulldogs starting netminder Nathan Lawson in net at the beginning of the second period, making ten saves in his first twenty minutes and stopping several scoring chances to keep the 'Dogs ahead. After 40 minutes, the Wolves led the 'Dogs 25-18 in shots.

The Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead at 2:34 in the third period. Robert Slaney chased a loose puck into the Wolves zone and caught Lack on a cross-crease slide to score his second of the season. Jesse Todd earned his first point as a professional in his second pro game with an assist on the play. Then, just 1:50 later, Tim Miller put Chicago on the board with his 17th of the season to cut Hamilton's lead to 2-1. Mike Duco scored another goal for the Wolves just three minutes later to tie the game at 2.

Brian Willsie would take advantage of a power play opportunity to send a top-shelf rocket past Lack, giving the Bulldogs a final 3-2 lead with 10:32 left in the third period. The Wolves failed to score on their six power plays this game while the 'Dogs scored on one of their two man-advantages. Chicago edged Hamilton 33-30 in shots.
