Abbotsford Heat News Release
The Abbotsford HEAT have recalled goaltender Matt Keetley from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL and have re-assigned David Shantz to the Salmon Kings.
Keetley returns to the HEAT after a rehabilitation assignment with the Salmon Kings. Keetley will be available for selection by the HEAT when they open their four game home stand beginning Tuesday night versus the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Shantz appeared in five games for the HEAT this season, posting a record of two wins and two losses as well as picking up a shutout on November 13th versus Peoria. Shantz has a 3.70 goals against average and a.869 save percentage in the games played for the HEAT this season.
