Abbotsford Heat News Release

Abbotsford, B.C. - The San Antonio Rampage would break out for three third period goals en route to a 5-1 victory over the Abbotsford Heat in AHL action at the AESC Friday night.

Lance Bouma would open the scoring for the Heat as he finished off a nifty passing play early in the first period. However, goals by Mathieu Beaudoin and Peter MacArthur would give the Rampage a 2-1 lead after twenty minutes.

The score would remain 2-1 into the third until the Rampage struck gold. Three goals in just over two minutes by Alexandre Picard, Brett Maclean, and Tim Stapleton chased Heat keeper Matt Keetley from the Abbotsford nets.

The Heat fall to 6-6-0-1 on the season and will play the Rampage in a rematch out in the valley on Saturday night...puck drop at 7 PM.
