To complete the trade, the Black Hawks sent the Thunder a seventh round selection in Phase I of the USHL Draft, plus a fourth round Phase II selection. Waterloo acquired a tenth round Bloomington Phase II choice.
Phase I of the United States Hockey League Draft will begin this evening at 6 p.m. Central Time. During the course of ten rounds, USHL clubs will select players born during 2000. Phase II will be held Tuesday and covers an array of eligible players at various ages, allowing USHL member teams to begin the process of restocking their rosters for 2016/17.
