
Hawkins Placed on Waivers

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that left-handed pitcher Rich Hawkins has been placed on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting him his release.
Hawkins, 22, went 3-1 with a 7.82 ERA in eight starts with the Goldeyes this season.
The Goldeyes now have 20 players on their active roster, including 11 pitchers and nine position players.
