Fargo-Moorhead 14, Gary SouthShore 3
Fargo-Moorhead continues to play great baseball as they win their seventh in a row in a 14-3 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats. The RedHawks pounded out 22 hits with each batter in the lineup collecting at least two. Fargo-Moorhead 3B Eric Campbell went 3-for-6 with a run scored, two doubles and three runs batted in while DH Ryan Delgado had three hits, including a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. RedHawks starting pitcher Jake Laber picked up his fourth win of the season after throwing seven shutout innings allowing two walks and nine hits. For Gary SouthShore in defeat, C Ryan Babineau had a perfect 4-for-4 day with a run scored and a RBI.
St. Paul 6, Quebec 4 (10 Innings)
CF Jose Hernandez launched a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the St. Paul Saints a dramatic 6-4 walk-off win over the Quebec Capitales. The Saints had a 3-1 lead going into the eighth inning only to see the Capitales score single runs in the eighth and ninth innings to tie the score at 3-3 and send it to extra innings. Quebec tallied a run in the top of the 10th to take a 4-3 lead before 1B Ole Sheldon hit a solo home run to tie at 4-4 and then Hernandez's two-run blast to give St. Paul the victory. Sheldon and Hernandez both had three hits in the game for the Saints.
Winnipeg 7, Sioux Falls 3
After falling behind 2-0 after a half an inning, the Winnipeg Goldeyes scored four runs in the bottom of the 1st to take a 4-2 lead and would go on from there to win 7-3 over the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Winnipeg RF Josh Mazzola had a monster game at the plate going 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs, two runs scored and five RBI. CF Chris Roberson and SS Jose O. Duran each chipped in with two hits apiece for the Goldeyes. Winnipeg starting pitcher Todd Privett tossed 6 2/3 solid innings en route to his fourth win with the club. Privett allowed two earned runs on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
