LAST GAME PLAYED:

The Havoc and RiverKings played a two- game series March 30-31 in Southaven. Huntsville won the first game 4-1, but the RiverKings took game two on Saturday 5-3.

SCOUTING THE RIVERKINGS:

Mississippi's win Saturday put them two points up on the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs in the SPHL. More importantly, a pair of Birmingham losses locked in the RiverKings and Dawgs for the playoffs -¢ Dillan Fox provides a spark for Mississippi. Since his return from the ECHL, the team has won four of five and Fox has 9 points (6g, 3a). -¢ Over the last ten games, three RiverKings are averaging a point per game: Daniel Tedesco (8g, 2a), Ryan Marcuz (5g, 5a) and Derek Sutliffe (4g, 6a). -¢ Tyler Green leads the SPHL with 19 wins and 1081 saves.

HUNTSVILLE BY THE NUMBERS:

The Havoc have seven powerplay goals in their last eight games, allowing four scores when on the penalty kill in that same span. -¢ Sy Nutkevtich is tied for the league-lead in game-winning goals (6) with Birmingham rookie Jacob Barber. Sy has 10 points (4g, 6a) over his last eight games. -¢ Shawn Bates recorded two assists against Mississippi last weekend, setting a new career-high for points in a season with 44 (19g, 25a). He has an eight-game point streak. -¢ Nolan Kaiser's two goals on Friday set a new personal career-high for goals in a regular season with 10. -¢ Keegan Asmundson is tied for fourth in the SPHL in wins (15) and ranks fifth in saves (933). Fellow keeper Mike DeLaVergne is fifth in goals allowed (2.89/gm), fourth in save percentage (91.3%) and has won five of his last six starts. -¢ Playoff opponents and dates will be decided at the Challenge Round Selection event live at the VBC in Huntsville on Sunday, April 8, hosted by Alabama Crimson Tide and Birmingham Bulls broadcaster Eli Gold and Terry Crisp from the Nashville Predators.

BACK IN ACTION: Huntsville wraps up the regular season Saturday, April 7, against Birmingham in Pelham, Alabama. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. -¢ Mississippi hosts the Fayetteville Marksmen in the Landers Center tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
