Four-game homestand against the Columbus Clippers starts Monday...
Toledo Mud Hens Promotions for July 2- 5
Monday, July 2 (Columbus, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 6 p.m.) - The Hens open a four-game series against the Columbus Clippers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.
Tuesday, July 3 (Columbus, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.) - The Hens continue the series against the Columbus Clippers.
o Come kick off your Fourth of July Celebration down at Fifth Third Field! We've got it all down here at the stadium with live entertainment, barbequing and fireworks! The first day of the Freedom Feast Buffet will take place on the Nest party deck from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets include pregame live music, a seat in the Nest Party Deck, an all-you can eat buffet, and a private Freedom Feast cash bar featuring Fourth of July themed drinks. Freedom Feast tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children. The feast includes "We R Ribs" BBQ Spare ribs, BBQ chicken, fresh coleslaw, buttered red skin potatoes and many other delicious sides to choose from. Live entertainment will be provided by Jeff Tucker & On the Beach. Their music includes a variety of dynamics that mixes elements of pop, rock and country with reference to Americana and jazz music.
o Face painters, glitter tattoo artists, a stilt walker and jugglers will be providing entertainment for children throughout the game for both days of the Fourth of July Celebration.
o The night will conclude with postgame fireworks.
Wednesday, July 4 (Columbus, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.) - The Hens and Clippers will be back at it in game three of the series.
- What better way to spend your Independence Day than at a party with the Hens? The Freedom Feast continues with live entertainment on the Nest Party Deck. The local Sylvania band, Skoobie Snaks will be providing the entertainment for the evening. They perform hits from all decades including country music.
- Stick around after the game for a double dose of fireworks! Mud Hens postgame fireworks will light up the night sky, plus fans are invited to stay in the stadium to watch the City of Toledo fireworks.
Thursday, July 5 (Columbus, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 6 p.m.) - The Mud Hens and Clippers wrap up their series in Toledo.
- It is the opening week of the movie, "The Amazing Spider-Man", and the web-slinging, wall-clinging superhero will be making an appearance at Fifth Third Field to celebrate! Fans will have the opportunity to meet Spider-Man on the main concourse throughout the game.
All Mud Hens games can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio, WCWA, and seen live on BCSN. Both the radio and television pregame shows start at 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.
