
First Walk and Talk with the Women of the Red Wings

Rochester Red Wings News Release
Today was the first Walk and Talk with the Red Wings Women as part of the "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" initiative in July. Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks joined Red Wings President/CEO Naomi Silver and the other women of the club's front-office staff for a walk around the Frontier Field warning track.
"Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" is a a month-long initiative to inspire women in the Rochester area to support baseball and community. Dates of the Walk and Talk with the Red Wings Women are July 2-6, 9-13, 16-18, 20, 23-25, 27, and 30-31. Fans can register for Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend at 12:00 noon prior to any Walk and Talk with the Red Wings Women, during any game at Frontier Field, at the Red Wings' office during business hours, and by phone at (585) 454-1001.
