The Harrisburg Senators (35-31) and Richmond Flying Squirrels (34-31) play the rubber match of their three-game series Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

TODAY'S GAME The Senators and Flying Squirrels play the rubber match of their three-game series Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. The Squirrels snapped the Senators' six-game winning streak with their 5-1 win in game two. Sunday's game finishes a stretch where the teams have played seven of the past 10 games against each other. The Senators are 6-3 against the Flying Squirrels this season. The two clubs are scheduled to play 19 games against each other this year.

BESTING THE WEST The Senators have not lost a series against the Western Division this season. The Senators have won five series against the West, including five of the last six series, and have split four sets. The Senators are 21-12 against the West this season.

#WINNING Since the team fell to a season worst 13-21, the Senators are 22-10 over the past 32 games. In addition, the previous six-game winning streak tied a season-high and was the third winning streak of four games or more over the past 26 games. The Senators have won seven of their past nine games overall.

PITCHER HOME RUN Luis Reyes became the first Senators pitcher this season to hit a home-run when he launched a solo-shot in the bottom of the fifth in the series opener. Prior to the home run, Reyes was 0-7 in his professional career. The last Senators pitcher to hit a home run was Mark Blackmar on April 17, 2017 at Hartford. Reyes is the 14th pitcher in the modern Senators era to hit a home run (since 1987).

BATTING BETTER The Senators team batting average when they were a season-low 13-21 was .227. In the 31 games since, the Senators have raised their team batting average 13 points to .240. The Senators have improved their team batting average every month, as they hit .232 in April, .241 in May and now .251 in June. After hitting 17 home runs in April, the team smashed 25 in May and in June they have hit 14, the second highest total in the Eastern League. IT'S ABOUT HOW YOU START AND HOW YOU FINISH The Senators are 28-5 (.848) when they score first which is the best winning percentage when a team scores first in the Eastern League. In addition they are 22-9 (.710) when scoring last, which is third highest mark in the league. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Kyle McGowin takes the mound in the rubber match for the Senators. The right-hander is 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA across six starts this season. McGowin tossed six innings of two run ball while striking out a career-high and Senators season-high 11 in his last start on June 12 at Richmond. RICHMOND STARTING PITCHER The Squirrels counter with starter Garrett Williams. The left-hander is 2-4 with a 5.33 ERA across 12 starts with Richmond this season. Williams allowed two runs in four innings in his last start against the Senators on May 19. The 23-year-old is ninth ranked prospect in the Giants organization according to MLB.com.
