The Senators finish the homestand with a four-game series against the Altoona Curve which continues Saturday night at FNB Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators finish the homestand with a four-game series against the Altoona Curve which continues Saturday night at FNB Field. The Senators won their sixth consecutive game on Friday night with their 14-2 victory. The Senators are 4-2 against the Curve this season after splitting the first series between the two and taking two out of three from Altoona April 27 to 29. The Senators and Curve are scheduled to play 20 games against each other this season, the second -most frequent Eastern League opponent for the Senators this season.

WINNING TIME With Friday's 14-2 victory, the Senators captured their first six-game winning streak since May 16-23, 2016 when the club won seven in a row. The Senators have not lost a series since they were swept by Trenton May 3 to May 6. With a win in game two the Senators will move to .500 for the first time since April 19 when they were 6-6.

MAY-FLYING The Senators allowed just two runs to Altoona in the series opener, bringing their team ERA in May down to 3.33, the third lowest mark in the Eastern League. Only Trenton (3.04) and Akron (3.20) have a lower team ERA in the month of May. The Senators ended April with a 4.20 ERA, which was last in the league.

DANIEL JOHNSON FOR THREE Daniel Johnson leads the Eastern League with five triples this season, leading three other players tied for second with four. The most triples by a Senator last season was four by Osvaldo Abreu. The last Senator to hit five or more triples in a season was Isaac Ballou who hit nine in 2016. Johnson is also tied for third in the Eastern League with 13 stolen bases.

WHAT WOULD DREW DO After starting the season on the disabled list, Drew Ward went 3-46 (.065) in his first 14 games. In the 13 games since, the 23-year-old is batting .333 with two home runs, eight RBI and a .999 OPS.

GOOD MORNING The Senators played in their second and final morning game at FNB Field in the series finale against Erie. The Senators moved to 4-1 in morning contests this season. The Senators play their final morning game on May 31 against Hartford at 10:35 a.m. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Jefry Rodriguez starts game two of the series for the Senators. The right-hander is 3-3 with a 3.94 ERA across nine starts this season. Rodriguez allowed one run across six and a third innings in his last start May 20 at Richmond. ALTOONA STARTING PITCHER Altoona counters with starter Mitch Keller. The right-hander is 5-2 with a 3.02 ERA over eight starts this season. Keller allowed three runs in four innings in his previous start against the Senators on April 28. The 22-year-old is ranked as the 14th best prospect in professional baseball according to MLB.com.
