West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie has announced that forward Micheal Haley has been recalled to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.

The Grizzlies are a proud affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

At the time of his exit, the 5-foot-10 Haley leads the ECHL with 10 major penalties and is third in the league with 96 penalty minutes.

The 21-year-old is the Grizzlies fourth leading scorer with ten goals and five assists in 22 games.

The rookie attended training camp with Bridgeport this season.

Haley is the fourth Grizzlies player to receive an AHL promotion this year. Scott Burt and Mike Mole have since returned to Utah. Ryan Kinasewich, recalled on November 3, remains with the Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies, unbeaten in nine of their last ten games, resume their season-long ten-game home stand Wednesday with Las Vegas. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
