Guite Recalled By Predators

Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Ben Guite from Milwaukee. In addition, the Admirals have recalled forward Mike McLean from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Guite started the season with the Predators, going pointless in four games before being assigned to the Admirals on Oct. 17. The 6-1, 211-pound center has 16 points (5g-11a) in 32 games for Milwaukee, including eight points (3g-5a) in his last six outings. Montreal's eighth choice, 172nd overall (seventh round), in the 1997 Entry Draft, Guite has played 173 NHL games with Nashville, Colorado and Boston since 2005-06, registering 45 points (19g-26a) and 95 penalty minutes.

McLean has totaled 20 points (9g-11a) in 33 games with the Cyclones this season. In the 2008-09 campaign he posted four goals and eight assists in 25 games with the Lake Erie Monsters and 46 points (17g-29) in 47 contests with the Dayton Bombers (ECHL).
