Comstock Park, MI - The Taylor Guerrieri-led Bowling Green Hot Rods (8-4, 46-34) defeated the West Michigan Whitecaps (5-7, 38-44) 6-1 on Monday afternoon at Fifth Third Ballpark in the greater-Grand Rapids area. Guerrieri earned his sixth win of the season with six shutout innings, and Luke Maile recorded three hits and two runs batted in. The win secures a sweep over the Whitecaps and a 5-1 road trip.
