Grrrowl to Defend Title at Home

Greenville, SC: The Defending 2002 Kelly Cup Champion Greenville Grrrowl return to the BI-LO Center for games 3 and 4 (if necessary) of the first round of the 2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs versus Columbia on Monday April 7th and Tuesday April 8th. Both games begin at 7:05 PM. Columbia currently leads the best-of-five series, 1-0.
To honor those South Carolina residents and all U.S. Troops defending our nation, the Grrrowl are asking all hockey fans to attend Monday and/or Tuesday's game and wear red, white, and/or blue as a show of national pride during this time of conflict.
The US Army will present our nation's colors and repel from the rafters of the arena just prior to the National Anthem. The Grrrowl home jerseys and helmets will display American flags beginning Monday, and a large assortment of patriotic music will be played throughout the game(s).
The Grrrowl are one of 16 teams in contention for the 2003 Kelly Cup Championship.
Individual tickets for the first round games on the 7th and 8th are on sale. Individual tickets are $1 more than regular season prices...$22, $17, $15, $11, and $7.
