
Grrrowl Release Six Players

GREENVILLE, S.C. â The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League on Saturday released six players from their training camp roster. Forwards VLADIMIR BEDNAR, COREY LUCAS and TYLER SHANTZ, goaltenders MALCOLM BASSETT and IVAN JAGLAR, and defenseman RYAN FALVEY were released by Grrrowl VP of Hockey Operations/Head Coach John Marks. The cuts were made following the final game of the 4-team, 6-game exhibition at the BI-LO Center. Grrrowl Greenville has 10 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goaltenders remaining in camp. The regular season opener is scheduled for Friday, October 11th at Charlotte (7:35 PM, WORD Radio).
The home opener, which will feature the raising of the 2002 Kelly Cup Championship banner, is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th against the South Carolina Stingrays (7:05 PM). Grrrowl tickets are on sale at the BI-LO Center Box Office and all TicketMaster outlets.
