
Men O' War Finish Exhibition Season Undefeated

Lexington, KY- The Lexington Men O' War welcomed their season ticket holders to Rupp Arena on Saturday with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Peoria Rivermen. Jeremy Day stopped 22 of 23 shots including 4 of 4 in the shootout for the 2-1 win. Daryl Moor scored the game winner while Jared Smyth hit for his second of the pre-season.
Lexington finished the exhibition season with a 2-0-0 record. Goaltender Dan Murphy stopped all 25 shots he faced in 60 minutes of play. Jeremy Day stopped 44 of 46 shots in equal playing time. Lexington goaltenders combined for a 97.1% save percentage and a goals against average of 1.00. Jared Smyth led the team in scoring with 3 points (2G, 1A) in two games. Daryl Moor tallied a goal in each game.
The Lexington Men O' War present "Opening Weekend" at Rupp Arena on Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th against the Greensboro Generals.
