
Defending champs sign rugged winger

GREENVILLE, S.C. â The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League on Saturday announced the signing of RW ALEXANDRE MENARD-BURROWS to a professional contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Last season, Menard-Burrows recorded 35-35-70 points and 184 penalty minutes in 64 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The 21-year old right winger will be available for Greenville's afternoon exhibition games - 4:00 PM vs. Roanoke Express; 8:00 PM vs. Greensboro Generals â today at the BI-LO Center.
