GREENVILLE, SC â The East Coast Hockey League's 2002 Kelly Cup Champion Greenville Grrrowl on Friday announced they have completed a requested trade by sending goaltender Jayme Platt to the Dayton Bombers (ECHL) for future considerations.
The Redmond, Washington native set a franchise record with 30 wins during the 2001-02 season, on the way to the Kelly Cup Championship with a 4-game sweep of Dayton. During the 2002-03 season, Platt had a record of 9-12-3 with 3 shutouts. Platt had requested a trade to a northern team in the ECHL.
