Greenville Grrrowl News Release
GREENVILLE, S.C. â The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League announced on Saturday the addition of defenseman Shaun Fisher the roster. Fisher will wear jersey number 22.
The Detroit, Michigan native was acquired as part of the December 6th deal that sent the rights to Ryan Stewart to Florida Everblades. He was signed as a free agent by the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes in 2001, and remains under contract with the NHL club. "Shaun skates very well", said Grrrowl VP of Hockey Operations John Marks. "He is a skilled player who will be an asset on the powerplay."
The Grrrowl host the Southeast Division-rival Columbia Inferno at 7:35 PM tonight (Newsradio 1330 & 950, WORD). Tickets are on sale at the BI-LO Center Box Office and all TicketMaster outlets. Remember, hockey tickets make great stocking stuffers during the holiday season! For more information call (864) 467-GRRR or log onto www.grrrowl.com.
