Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs scored three 2nd period goals that put them ahead for good, as they defeated the Dayton Bombers 4-3, Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Jeff Sullivan lead the way for the Chiefs with a goal and an assist and the game's #1 star. Dominic Forget scored shorthanded, while Vladimir Nemec and J.F. Boutin also tallied for the Chiefs. Torrey DiRoberto scored two goals for the Bombers, while Ben Knopp scored the other Dayton goal.

Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry picked up his 7th win of the season making 24 saves. Dayton goaltender Shane Bendera made 22 saves in the defeat.

The Chiefs climb back to .500 with an 11-11-2 record. Dayton falls to 9-14-2 on the season.

The Chiefs will play their next two games on the road. Sunday they are at Richmond (6:00 p.m.) and Tuesday night they face the Roanoke Express (7:00 p.m.). Friday and Saturday night the Chiefs return to home ice as the Peoria Rivermen come to town for a pair of games at 7:30 p.m.
