Ryan Vince scored two third period goals as the Dayton Bombers defeated the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 4-1 Friday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Vince's first goal came on a power play rebound chance at 5:36 after defenseman Jason Crain's shot was stopped by goaltender Scott Stirling. Vince scored again following an Atlantic City turnover at 8:15 on a turnaround slap shot from the far circle. Vince has eight points (2-6) in his last six games.

The Bombers, who killed off all nine Atlantic City power plays, converted with the man advantage in the first period to take a 1-0 lead. Tom Nemeth received a cross-ice pass from Chris M. Thompson and fired a shot past Stirling at 8:02. Matt Poapst made it 2-0 at 18:03 of the first when he deflected Mike Vellinga's point shot into the net. Rookie Shane Bendera, making the start with Andrew Allen on recall to AHL Grand Rapids, stopped 23 shots in the win, including 12 in the first period. Jim Henkel scored in the second period for Atlantic City.

The Bombers will continue their season-long, six-game road trip Saturday night in Johnstown for a 7:30 p.m. game. The Bombers will return home Friday, December 20 to host Atlantic City at the Nutter Center (7:30 p.m.)
