San Diego Gulls News Release

SAN DIEGO - For the second straight year, the San Diego Gulls are teaming up with the popular Hard Rock Cafe to host a 'Pucks & Pasta' dinner on Monday, Dec. 16 in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. The event is an opportunity to wine and dine with Gulls players, while supporting the Ronald McDonald House charity.

Fans will be able to meet their favorite players and have one-on-one conversations in an intimate setting. Among the players slated to attend are R.J. Enga, Dennis Purdie, Trevor Koenig, Mark Pederson and Samy Nasreddine. They will also hold a question and answer session and sign autographs.

"This is yet another fine opportunity for the Gulls organization to interact with their loyal fans," Gulls Vice President Jeff Longo said. "It also benefits the great Ronald McDonald House organization, which we look to build an even greater relationship with in the future."

Signed memorabilia - including sticks and jerseys - will be available for fans to win in an auction and raffle. Tickets for the event are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Ronald McDonald House. There will be three dinner plates to choose from, served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Drinks will be served at a reception half an hour prior. For more information on the event and to order tickets, please call 619-615-7625.

San Diego returns to action Monday at home against the Idaho Steelheads. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. From there, the Gulls play in Long Beach Wednesday, Dec. 11 before opening a three-game homestand. All games can be heard live on 1130AM-KSDO and at www.ksdo.com with Chris Ello calling the play-by-play. The Gulls' Internet radio show broadcasts live every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on wsradio.com with Tera Black and Jeremy Zager hosting.
