Grizzlies to Play for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Friday

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies will be playing for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Friday when they host the Ontario Reign at 7 p.m.

The evening will feature Leukemia survivor Monique Pineault, the wife of Grizzlies alternate captain Adam Pineault. Monique was diagnosed with AML two years ago and received a bone marrow transplant from her only brother. Monique will be dropping the evening's ceremonial first puck drop.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be on the concourse with information on where to donate blood, how to be a registered donor and more.

This Weekend Continues Saturday

Saturday is "Pooch on the Pond" where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for a $24 a person with their dog. After Saturday's game is a free post-game skate. Skate rental is $2.

Monday is the first Maverik Monday of the year. Get six tickets for $30 with a receipt from Maverik. The Grizzlies will also be honoring US Veterans throughout the evening for Veteran's Day.
