
Grizzlies Teddy Bear Toss Saturday

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies annual "Teddy Bear Toss" presented by 97.1 KZHT will be held Saturday, December 13 when the team hosts the Stockton Thunder at 7:05 p.m. Following Utah's first goal, fans are invited to throw teddy bears and other new stuffed animals onto the E-Center ice. The toys will be donated to patients at Primary Children's Medical Center during the team's annual visit Tuesday, December 16.
Fans who bring a teddy bear to the game will receive a free voucher to attend the Grizzlies game on Wednesday, January 7 courtesy of 97.1 KZHT.
Last year, 662 teddy bears were tossed onto the ice on December 1 in the Grizzlies 4-0 win over Stockton. The Grizzlies team store in the E-Center will also be selling teddy bears on the night of the game.
In addition, fans who attend Friday's game at 7:05 p.m., that bring a can of food will receive a free bag of Dale and Thomas Popcorn and a 21 oz. Pepsi. The cans will be donated to the United Way of Salt Lake's Neighbor-To-Neighbor Response Program. *Limit one free popcorn and Pepsi per person.
The Utah Grizzlies, of the ECHL, celebrate their 15th anniversary season in 2008-2009.
