Grizzlies launch school assembly program

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that their 2005-2006 school Assembly program *Hockey is a Great Lesson for Life* will begin Monday, October 3rd at Howard R Driggs Elementary in Holladay.

Grizzlies broadcaster Adrian Denny will be on hand to assist team mascot Grizzbee with the Assembly. Howard R Driggs Elementary is located at 4340 South 2700 East. The scheduled start time is 2:30 p.m.

The Assemblies are geared toward elementary school students, and emphasize the importance of setting goals, working as a team and keeping a positive attitude. Each Assembly also includes a hockey demonstration, plus a question and answer session.

In addition, all students and faculty members at each school the Grizzlies visit will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Grizzlies game. Last year, the team visited over 50 schools across the Wasatch Front.
